Throughout 2024, Students Against EACOP Uganda will build on the momentum it set in 2023 where a series of Trainings were held across different Universities in Uganda to equip the various supporters of the Movement with sufficient knowledge on nonviolent civil resistance against the plans of the government of the republic of Uganda, Total Energies and the Chinese firm CNOOC LTD from constructing the would be worlds longest heated oil pipeline across the pearl of Africa to Tanga in Tanzania

With the heightened human rights and environmental concerns where our supporters have been victims to the grave human rights violations involved, enough expertise is needed to fully equip our supporters on their rights to engage in peaceful protests at different national offices like the headquarters of Total Energies, parliament of the republic of Uganda and the Chinese Firm CNOOC them to back off the evil oil pipeline.
